For students, we collect the student's name, grade, school, subjects, assessment results, attendance, and progress notes we write during sessions. When you pay, your card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our systems. Through our website we may collect basic visit data such as IP address and pages viewed.
How we use it
We use this information to schedule sessions, teach and track your child's progress, send you progress updates and reminders, process payments, and improve our programs. We may use your contact details to tell you about schedules, make-up sessions, and program changes.
Children's privacy
Our services are booked and managed by parents and guardians, not by children directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. Any student information we hold is provided by, or with the involvement of, a parent or guardian. Parents may review, correct, or ask us to delete their child's information at any time by contacting us below.
Sharing your information
We share information only with the tutors and staff who need it to teach your child, with our payment processor to handle transactions, and when required by law. We never sell your information and do not share it for advertising.
Data retention
We keep your information while your child is enrolled and for a reasonable period afterward for records and follow-up, then delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your or your child's information sooner, except where we are required to keep records by law.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, as required under New York's data security laws. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your data.
