Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Badal Tutorial Services ("we", "us"). By enrolling in a program or using our services, you agree to them. Please read them before you enroll.
Acceptance of terms
By enrolling, paying, or attending sessions, you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and your child. If you do not agree, please do not enroll.
Our services
We provide K-12 tutoring, test prep (SHSAT, SAT, Regents), ESL, EKG technician, and citizenship exam prep as described on our website. Sessions are subject to tutor availability and schedule. We are a tutoring center, not a school, and we do not issue school credit or official transcripts.
Enrollment and payment
Program fees are listed on our Programs page. Payment is due as agreed at enrollment, in full or by installments depending on the program. We accept the payment methods we offer at the time. Prices may change for future enrollments, but fees you have already paid for a program are locked in.
Cancellation and rescheduling
To reschedule or cancel a session without charge, notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be counted as used at our discretion. We may reschedule or cancel sessions due to weather, staff availability, or emergencies, and will offer a make-up session.
Refunds
If you withdraw from a program, we provide a prorated refund for sessions not yet attended, minus any non-refundable deposit or materials fee. EKG and citizenship cohorts follow the refund terms in their enrollment agreement. To request a refund, contact us below.
Attendance and conduct
Students should arrive on time and treat staff and other students with respect. We may pause or end enrollment for a student whose conduct is disruptive, with a prorated refund for unused sessions. Parents are responsible for timely pickup of young children.
Parent and student responsibilities
Please give us accurate information about your child, let us know about any learning needs or accommodations, and help your child attend prepared. Progress depends on regular attendance and practice outside sessions.
No guarantee of results
We commit to giving every student our best teaching and support, but we cannot guarantee specific test scores, admissions, grades, or certifications. Outcomes depend on the student's effort, attendance, and individual circumstances.
Limitation of liability
Our services are provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability for any issue is limited to the fees you paid for the affected sessions or program, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Privacy
How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows when they were last revised. Continued enrollment after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of New York County, New York.
